Born deaf, Paul never knew what it was like to have perfect hearing. Throughout his life he has worn hearing aids, but had to get used to missing out on many of the words people used in general conversation.
An assessment at Northside Audiology was followed by a Cochlear implant. Since his implant, Paul has experienced gradual progress, noticing improvement each time he returns to Northside Audiology for a mapping session. Paul is pleased to hear full sentences now, without having to lip read.
